Oh, I forgot to say - I wanted to upload som photos but it didnt really work.. Soon. Hopefully.
North Korea adn Vietnam
DMZ. During one of our days in Seoul, mum and I took a DMZ tour which was amazing! The fear/respect South Korea haev for North Korea is unbelivable! On the tour they were wery strick with what we were alloud to wear, our hand gestures and when we were alloud to take pictures and not. But The Trip was great and now I can say that I have been in North Korea! :) During our second last day we got to see some snow in Seoul - so I am happy about that.
Now we are in Vietnam. We left Seoul 4 pm yesterday and got here at 1 am with one transfer in Shanghai. On our last flight we were suppose to get dinner but the "dinner" we a big box of cookies, so you can all guess how much I ate...
Vietnam is warm. Today we run around with shorts and T-shirts, sweating! But I love the heat so shouldnt complain. The food here is great. So far we have only eaten diffrent versions of noodlesoups with meat and fresh herbs but they are really good. People here eat on childrens plastic tables 1 meter from the street. So strange.. And talking about the street - people drive here like crazy! The traffic in Korea is nothing compaired to this! I am surprised that we accually survived a hole day. The best way to cross a street here is to close your eyes and just walk. No kidding. 75 % of the vehicles here are scooters and they drive like hell... Today we also took a one and a half hour massage.. NICEH!
Tomorrow we are going on a 3 days and 2 nights Mekong Delta tour. This that is a floating makret that we ar going visit. And A floationg fish market. Well as you here I dont really know, but I will write about it when we get back.
Now I just want to say good night and Merry Xmas!!

FINAL
It feels like yesterday...
My exchange semester in Korea has come to its end. In just a few hours I will pick up my mum and tonight we are having the FINAL PARTY. It feels very sad to have to leave Ajou and Korea. Gosh I will miss this life! But, I am really looking forward to spend some weeks in the sun together with mum... and with Carola! My great roomie is meeting me up in Singapore - when mum is on her way back to Sweden.
So how did I spend my last weekend here in Korea? We started the weekend with going out in Seoul and due to our late (early) arrival to the dorm - saturday didnt start at 7 am as ursuall. Still I went to the gym, did some shopping and at 6 when I were suppose to go out for dinner with my Urban Design guys - one room mate just woke up... :) Had then a great realxing sat night, watching Hangover part 2. Felt kind of suitable. Yesterday me and Carola first went shopping then went to the korean Spa for a couple of hours... Good sunday.
So. Finlay day in Suwon. Tomorrow I will move out. Crazy! And before we take off to Vietnam on thursday I have made up a busy schuedule for the two of us.. so no resting - just like it should be! :)

From now and on - I dont know when I will be able to update this blog. But, every now and then, it should come some new pics here... From Vietnam or Bali or Jakkarta. Or mabe Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Who knows?

In the Christmas mood?
In the Christmas mood? - Not at all.
At the moment I am studying. Trying to write an essay about the Swedish economy based on Michael Porters four diamonds theorem. Trying. This exam week havent been much fun at all. ut, with today, its only 3 days more to go. 3 days more intensive studying. I can do it! Then it is over.
I am not in the Chrismas mood at all. No snow. Faked Chrismas trees. No gögg. No peppakakor. But, thanks to Robin Fransson - I have some great christmas music to listen to while writing this essay that I truly dont want to write. Its almost like I would prefer to fail the course. That would at least give me time to go to the gym.

Mission: Ice cream!
You have no idea how many ice creams I have had since I came to Korea... I am trying to try them all. My favourite one so far is a watermelon shaped ice cream with chocolate covered nuts (seeds). The stranges one I have had was one with a red bean filling, but It was accually pretty good.
This was todays ice creme, a Corn shaped waffle with ice creme inside. I cant really say what kind of ice crem it was but in consisted of corn bits (and rice as well I think). And there was also chocolate :) So: OK.

Temple Stay
This time I accually made it to the temple.. :) With some help of three great friends!
So, what can I say about the experience? Well worth it but never again. We had a great guide/nun which made the stay much more interesting and funny.
I will explain about our Temple Stay by giving you our schuedule:
15.00 Introduction of the program and Buddhism. All of us indroduced our self.
16.30 We rang the bell
17.00 We went in to a room in which we 'sang' at the same time as we bowed. Leart more about Buddhism, the meaning of the colours, the architect, the decorations etc.
18.00 More information about Buddhism and we learnd the reason for bowing. Now we had to bow. 108 times. Yes. 108 times. From standing. Everytime we got down we were allowed to put on one bead on a string which eventually form a neckless. Gosh I am proud over that Neckless!
19.30 Good vegetarian dinner. During meals munks and nuns are not allowed to talk. This rule applied even on us. I wanted to tell the hole worl how good the food was. But could´t. That was a stange feeling.
20.30 We learnt about Meditation and we meditaded for 5 minutes. It was a practise for the next morning. I thought 5 minutes was alot. I thought 20 min would be very long. But OK. I will try to stand the pain that I get in the legs from sitting in Lotus position. Oh not 20 min? 40 min!!?! Why did I sign up for this!?
04.30 Waking up
05.00 We rang the bell - It was freezing outside!
05.30 Meditation with a Zen Master. My gosh I made it! (almost). They stopped the meditation after 38 min cause 'some' (ME) girls looked very unomfortable. Seriously. It is not normal to sit still for 40 min!
06.15 Moningwalk
07.30 Breakfast - oh really good!
08.30 Tea cermoni
10.00 Finish!
